CITIZEN COMMUNICATION The first 10 speakers signed up prior to the meeting being called to order will each be allowed a three-minute allotment to address their concerns regarding items not posted on the agenda.
Approval of minutes from the June 12, 2013 WWW Commission regular meeting.
Pull consent items D1 & D13 for discussion. Approve consent items D2 - D12.
Recommend approval to award and execute two 24-month requirement supply contracts for the purchase of various hydrant repair parts for the Austin Water Utility with HD SUPPLY WATERWORKS LTD in an amount not to exceed $140,308 with two 12-month extension options in an amount not to exceed $70,154 per extension option for a total contract amount not to exceed $280,616; and with HYDRAFLO, INC. in an amount not to exceed $127,962 with two 12-month extension options in an not to exceed $63,981 for a total contract amount not to exceed $255,924.
Recommend approval to adopt an ordinance approving a consent agreement for the Cascades Municipal Utility District No. 1 (“MUD”) subject to adoption of an ordinance approving a strategic partnership agreement between the City and the MUD.
